How it's made
Milk fibre is not made from fresh milk, but from milk casein (a protein) and is an innovation in synthetic fabric. It is made from milk considered to be waste and then fermented. After the milk is fermented, the casein protein is extracted and spun into yarn which is then knit into fabric.Â
Its benefits
- Milk fabric has a smooth texture and has a natural sheen that feels comfortable and gentle against the skin.
- An ideal choice for people with sensitive skin.
- It is breathable, resistant to heat and has high moisture wicking properties.Â
- Biodegradable.
