How it's made
Organic Cotton is grown without the use of any toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. In fact, farmers use other insects to deal with pests naturally. It is extracted from natural seeds only and so never transgenic.
The lack of chemicals used means that the soil is naturally healthier and so the crop requires less water to grow. No use of chemicals also means that toxic substances are kept out of the surrounding ecosystems and natural water sources.
